These are the whopping 10 INCH Alexander McQueen alien platform shoes that made it's debut on the catwalk at his Paris fashion show for Spring/Summer 2010. The studded pair of heels were also shown in Lady Gaga's 'Bad Romance' music video. They look absolutely fabulous but is it a safe wear? I would love to wear one of these maybe when I'm suicidal! I would rather consider these pair of shoes a beautiful work of art and a creation of a downright genius. This then reminded me of Vivienne Westwood's towering 12 inch heels in the 1990's (which sent Naomi Campbell to her infamous fall on the catwalk). Luckily on McQueen's show no one has fallen.Now do we think these are to DIE for? Literally die of pain if you break an ankle or two...? But at least we die looking fabulous. Riiiight?
